June 5 - June 11

Ahh River Days, one of the events that makes Durango, Durango. A celebration of the river and the people who love it. I was fortunate to float in this year's parade, and I must say, it's much more fun than being a spectator. Don't have a friend with a raft? No problem! Show up at one of the put-in's, Oxbow or 32nd, or even Paradise Beach, where many people were offering up spots on their boat. Just make sure to wear something ridiculous for guaranteed entry. Here's to Durango and the generous, kooky, fun-loving people that inhabit it!
